Why NYC Parents Trust Fress with Their Student’s Home
★ 5.0 Google Rating | Certified MBE · WBE · DBE | 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed
“I needed someone on short notice for a move-out clean. Lisbeth worked miracles — went above and beyond, treated my relative with empathy. Professional, communicative, and fair in pricing. Highly recommend.”
— Kaila C., Brooklyn ★★★★★
“Fress was excellent to schedule and work with. They communicated well prior to arriving and were very professional. They brought their own equipment and did an excellent job in my apartment.”
— John G., NYC ★★★★★
Your Student Is Focused on Classes. Their Apartment Isn’t.
Let’s be honest. When five college students share an off-campus apartment or a dorm-style house in the city — cleaning is nobody’s priority. It’s everybody’s problem, and nobody’s responsibility.
Dishes. Bathrooms. Shared kitchens. Bedroom floors. The grime builds fast, and before you know it, it’s finals week, the lease is ending, the landlord is coming, and you’re losing the security deposit on top of everything else.
That’s where NYC parents call Fress. We handle the cleaning on a schedule that works around class schedules — so your student can stay focused, their living space stays healthy, and the semester ends without a cleaning crisis.
Student Cleaning for Every Type of NYC Student Housing
Off-Campus Apartments (2–5 Bedrooms)
The most common student setup in NYC. Multiple roommates, one shared kitchen and bathroom — and usually one person who never does their share. We clean every common area, every bedroom, and every bathroom on a schedule everyone can agree on. Parents can book on behalf of the whole apartment.
Off-Campus Dorm Houses
Houses near Fordham’s Rose Hill campus in the Bronx are particularly popular — 5-bedroom, 2-bath configurations where students essentially run their own household. These larger spaces need regular professional cleaning to stay livable. We’ve cleaned them and know exactly what’s involved.
Studio & 1BR Student Apartments
Graduate students, students from out of state, or those who prefer solo living often rent studios or 1-bedrooms near their campus. A bi-weekly clean keeps their space healthy and their focus on their work.
Student Co-Living & Shared Housing
Co-living spaces in Williamsburg, Bushwick, Astoria, and Long Island City house huge numbers of NYC college students. We’re comfortable working with building management, co-living operators, and individual student residents.
End-of-Semester Move-Out Cleans
The single most common parent booking. When the semester ends and the apartment needs to be handed back, parents call us to get the deposit back. We do a full move-out clean that meets NYC landlord standards — inside every appliance, cabinet, and closet.
Move-In Cleans (New Semester Start)
Starting a new year in a ‘cleaned’ apartment? Let us do a proper deep clean before your student unpacks a single box. You’ll know exactly what they’re living in.
Off-Campus Cleaning Near Fordham University — Rose Hill & Lincoln Center
Fordham’s Rose Hill campus in the Bronx sits in one of the most active off-campus student neighborhoods in New York City. Students living along Fordham Road, Arthur Avenue, Belmont, and the surrounding blocks often share larger apartments and multi-bedroom houses — the kind of space that needs real professional cleaning, not just a quick sweep.
We’ve cleaned 5-bedroom, 2-bath off-campus houses for Fordham students — the exact configuration that’s common near Rose Hill. These jobs typically run between $500–$800 for a recurring monthly or bi-weekly service. Parents often book them at the start of the semester and maintain them through to move-out.
For students at Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan, we’re just minutes away by subway. We clean studios, 1-bedrooms, and shared apartments throughout the Upper West Side, Hell’s Kitchen, and Midtown West corridors where Lincoln Center students typically live.
What’s included in a Fordham-area student clean:
- All bedrooms — dusted, vacuumed, and mopped
- Shared kitchen — degreased, sanitized, inside appliances on request
- All bathrooms — scrubbed, sanitized, and restocked
- Living and dining areas — full surface clean, floors mopped
- Trash emptied throughout
- Eco-friendly, non-toxic products — safe for all roommates

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a parent book a cleaning for their student’s NYC apartment?
Absolutely — this is one of our most common bookings. You call or book online, we coordinate scheduling and access directly with your student, and you’re charged only after the clean is complete. Everything is handled remotely.
Do students need to be home during the cleaning?
No. We can arrange access through your student’s building super, a key lockbox, or an entry code. Most student apartments are cleaned while everyone is in class. We send a completion confirmation when done.
Do you clean near Fordham University in the Bronx?
Yes — we have experience cleaning off-campus student housing in the Fordham neighborhood, Belmont, and surrounding Bronx areas. We’re also convenient for Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus in Manhattan.
Do you offer end-of-semester or move-out cleaning?
Yes. Our move-out clean is specifically designed to meet landlord inspection standards and get the security deposit back. We clean inside every appliance, cabinet, and closet. This is our most popular one-time student booking, especially in May and December.
Can you clean a shared apartment where different students have different schedules?
Yes. We coordinate with whoever provides access and clean common areas plus all bedrooms. Students can be home, in class, or anywhere — we work around the group.
What cleaning products do you use? Are they safe for students with allergies?
We use non-toxic, eco-certified products only — free from ammonia, bleach, and harsh chemicals. Safe for students with asthma, allergies, and chemical sensitivities. No harsh fumes, no lingering smell.
Do you offer student discounts?
We offer $30 off your first clean. For multi-semester recurring plans booked by parents, we’ll work with your budget. Call us to discuss.
