How it started
Fress started as a residential cleaning company. The reviews came quickly, over 300 of them, averaging 4.9 stars. Clients referred their neighbors. Neighbors referred their friends. Why eco-friendly — and why it actually means something
A deep interest in herbalism and nature drove a non-negotiable decision from the beginning: Fress would only use EWG-verified products — not brands that claim to be eco-friendly but rate poorly on independent testing. How we got certified
The MBE, WBE, and DBE certifications came from a procurement event where the right connections were made — established business owners who had navigated the certification process themselves and were generous enough to guide someone just starting out. Those mentors changed the trajectory of what Fress could become. The certifications opened doors. The work behind those doors is what keeps them open.
Where we are going
Fress is building toward becoming a recognized partner in both the private and public sector across New York City. The foundation is in place — the certifications, the registrations, the team, the track record. What comes next is larger contracts, deeper institutional relationships, and a growing team of trained professionals who represent what this company believes in.
